Personally. Well I’ve been swamped. Freelancing can become almost a full-time job. I have 2 new websites I am about to finish. I have also been working on re-doing SeaCloud9 and upgrading it to a much needed version 2.0. I have also spent some time working on my home network. I now have the ability to tunnel into my network!! I recently purchased an x-box and am in the process of transforming it to a media server!! If that is not enough I have also been working on creating a Live Linux CD to be placed on a mini dual sided DVD (one side for the portfolio app Windows/Apple and the flip side for a multimedia/webserver ready-to-go version of Linux) If that is not enough I have also been working on a new skin for the College of Saint Mary website and I have also developed an AJAX version of their Intranet (which yes I personally developed).

I went to see ColdPlay yesterday and it rocked. Lisa and I loved the show. Their live show is well worth a see! I am a huge fan of ColdPlay and thoroughly enjoyed the show. They also have a great multimedia setup to satisfy your visual appetite.

There are a barrage of tools out there to use for programming one of the most notable being Visual Studio. If you are a developer for web or desktop applications you might want to try some open source tools for a chance. Eclipse has a strong user base with numerous examples and tutorials. One of the great things about Eclipse is its ability to use plugin to expand its framework Eclipse also has a large and ever expanding user base. There has been discussion for some time about the death of Java and Java being so eighties. The fact of the matter is though Java is everywhere. I personally do not believe Java will be disappearing soon. You should also check out Java Studio Creator and join the Sun Developers Network! Sun also has a plethora of tools for developers out there just waiting to be utilized. So visual studio is not your only option!
