Well I have been reading and studying Ruby on Rails this is not my first time using Ruby on Rails I have actually completed some tutorials I originally thought of using Ruby for iHang10 but found CakePHP to be a little bit more reliable. I installed NetBeans at work but here I installed Aptana on my Apple and Vista. Kind of irritating my AMD/Processor died because it has my Ubuntu where I already had Ruby on Rails installed (using Aptana).
I have also been spending more time playing with PaperVision3D. Sometime after the wedding I will completely redo my portfolio site it is in dyer need of a remake. I would also like to use my Blog site to display more experimental ActionScript code you know for fun:) I have also been looking into PureMVC it looks like an interesting project and I do believe the Model View Controller design pattern is where it is at. So I have been making myself use Flash Develop more and playing around with various PaperVision3D tutorials:
Fun With PaperVision3D & Graphics Filters
3D Charts Using PaperVision3D
How To Create a Cubic Panoramic With PaperVision3D
GeoCode with PaperVision3D/ Flex
PaperVision3d2 Tutorials
Air Feed Reader using XML Syndication Lib
I also installed Expressions 2 this weekend Microsoft has been working on making SilverLight a usable product. I have been examining different methods to use Silverlight with Yahoo Pipes:
Yahoo Pipes and SilverLight2
How to Parse XML with SilverLight
XML Reader
XAML and Brushes
This weekend I also had time to watch the movie “I’m Not There” which I found to be quite inspiring and insightful. So if you have not seen it I would recommend seeing it here is a trailer:
