So everyone wants 2 know what exactly is next?? We know what to expect like OS X 10.5 Leopard. What we would like to know about is the mac mini laptop will it become a reality? Will there be an iphone or is it an imaginary creation of the media like all those Palm / Nintendo buy out rumors?? I think it would be sweet if Apple moves in the mobile direction the world wasn’t ready for the Newton but the time is right now for mobile the fact the iPod is doing so well should be reassurance. I really don’t care if they buy Palm or Nintendo although it would be pretty cool if they did buy Nintendo. Apple has had some bad experience in the gaming arena but I do think it would be great if they assimilated Nintendo to compete directly with Sony. Sometimes I do think Sony will tank it self just like the old beta format I don’t know if Sony has the ability to market what they have. They are touting their playstation 3 as better than a Mac Mini?
After Newton was dropped as an apple project many of the people that created the Palm were originally working on Newton so it would make some sense to acquire them. Palm does have great software for handwriting recognition. Microsoft as been diligently working on its Argo project whatever it is? Supposedly they are poised to kill the iPod although I don’t see it happening. In recent news apple is also rumored to make .mac free that would be good news. It would be wonderful if they would offer their .mac service for free it would attract gobs of new users. So let us know what you think Apple will release!!
